
The people in New York are an incredible inspiration in their ability to join together to help one another. Let's get together as a community help them! How? The Organic Kitchen wants to gather groups of people together to make the hiker biker bites and help sell them at farmer's markets and any other relevant locations.
We sold out of Hiker Biker Bites at the St. Phillip's Farmers' Market last Sunday in only two hours! We have already made over $800 and now I am really motivated to make $10,000.
I found an incredible group in Rockaway that is dedicated to providing hot food throughout the winter. The electricity is still not on in Rockaway. This is also a very poor population so that when the electricity does come on they will still be in a desperate situation--these folks have lost everything. So let's get together as a community and help them. Here is a beautiful statement from one of the folks that I have been in touch with in New York wrote about their experience over the past two weeks:
